Curriculum Vitae:
I am an MS student in Dr. John Koprowski's lab. My interests are in wildlife conservation and management; in particular the conservation of endangered species.

I graduated from East Carolina University with a BS in biology. Since graduating I have had several experiences working with endangered species. I have worked with the endangered red wolf, black-capped vireo, and the Mt. Graham red squirrel. My experiences have given me a great appreciation for the delicate nature of these species and the immense effort that is needed for their conservation and continued existence. I want to be able to provide research that can be applied toward the conservation and recovery of endangered wildlife.

My research here at the University of Arizona will be working with different small mammals on the various mountain areas in southeastern Arizona. One particular species of focus will be the Mt. Graham red squirrel. I will be looking at a non-invasive sampling method as a technique for accurately determining the specie's presence or absence, distribution, and abundance.
